COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course is a hands-on training designed to provide students with an in-depth knowledge of Oracle programming and knowledge of Oracle Server administration. The course assumes the students have little or no programming experience and therefore teaches how to program with the PL/SQL to automate and extend the capabilities of Oracle Database server.
COURSE OBJECTIVE
At the end of the course, the participants will acquire the skills for
- Developing optimized SQL queries to access Oracle database
- Analysis and fine-tuning techniques to increase performance of SQL queries
- Managing and handling large data sets and warehouse
- Creating re-usable stored procedures, functions, packages and triggers with code maintenance
- Invoking native dynamic SQL to develop high-level abstract code
- Performing Oracle server administration tasks
