On behalf of the Board of Directors and the entire Management Team, I would like to officially welcome you to the Ghana India Kofi Annan Centre of Excellence in ICT(GI-KACE), Ghana’s first Advanced Information Technology Institute working to stimulate the growth of the ICT Sector in ECOWAS and beyond. Celebrating our 20th Anniversary this year, the centre has achieved a great milestone in human and institutional capacity development, consultancy and undertaking e-Government research into ICT, Electronics, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics and associated areas under the Ministry of Communication and Digitalization. As you already know, the Government of Ghana has embarked on a bold digital agenda that has opened several opportunities for the Centre through our Research and Innovation Directorate as well as our Training and Consultancy Directorate. Our Research and Innovation Department has therefore developed several innovative prototypes like our e-Asset Management System; a web-based real-time Asset Management System for organizations, Invoicing and Revenue Mobilisation Platform, e-Asset Management System, Performance Appraisal Platform, just to mention a few. Regarding training, our Centre has also trained over 50,000 people in GI-KACE Regular Diploma and Certificate Programmes, 9,500+ staff of Corporate Ghana and 5,030+ in the Public Service of Ghana. We look forward to continuing our engagement with our partners and agencies to provide solutions and support their growth. Our doors are also open to all local and international organizations including government agencies that are interested in partnering with GI-KACE to provide technological solutions in all aspects of society.
