GI-KACE Ready For FEMITECH 2026

The Ghana-India Kofi Annan Centre of Excellence in ICT (GI-KACE) is poised to host the 2026 edition of the Females in Technology (FEMITECH) Conference on Wednesday, 11 March 2026, at the GI-KACE Auditorium in Accra.

FEMITECH is GI-KACE’s annual conference focused on promoting gender inclusion and increasing women’s involvement in Ghana’s ICT and digital innovation sectors.

Over the years, the conference has become a nationally recognized platform that brings together stakeholders from academia, industry, policymakers, and development partners to tackle important issues related to women’s leadership, mentorship, and skills development in technology.

FEMITECH 2026 will include keynote speeches, panel discussions, and career development talks centered on women’s leadership, digital inclusion, and collaboration among institutions. The conference will also create opportunities for stakeholders dedicated to strengthening pathways for women in technology.

This year, the Minister of Communications, Digital Technology, and Innovations, Samuel Nartey George, will deliver the keynote address at the event under the theme ‘Give to Gain.’

Sam George has been a firm advocate for male leaders leveraging their influence in shaping policies that promote gender equity and mentoring women in the ICT sector.

GI-KACE looks forward to welcoming institutions, partners, and stakeholders to sponsor the FEMITECH Conference as part of its ongoing commitment to fostering an inclusive and future-ready digital ecosystem.
