Education Will Continue To Be A Constant Factor In Africa’s Development – Dr. Collins Yeboah-Afari

The Director-General for the Ghana-India Kofi Annan Centre of Excellence in ICT, Dr. Collins Yeboah-Afari, has indicated that as the world changes rapidly, education continues to be a constant factor in the personal growth and development of the continent.

He made this statement during the 2024 annual thanksgiving graduation ceremony, which took place on July 26, 2024, at the Trinity Stars School, St. Margaret Mary Parish, on the theme, ‘Inspiring Change: Educating Students To Transform Africa’.

Dr. Yeboah-Afari stated that childhood education plays a critical role in the development of every individual, equipping them with the necessary tools required to navigate challenges and seize opportunities.

Speaking as the guest of honour at the event, Dr. Collins Yeboah-Afari noted that, the students are not just kids who are at the receiving end of knowledge, but the architects of the future.

“I encourage you all to embrace lifelong learning and remain curious about the world around you; you are not just graduates; you are pioneers; you have the power to shape your destinies and influence those around you,” he added.

He also applauded the efforts made by the students and the sacrifices that management had made toward the successful journey of imparting knowledge to the students.

According to him, the graduates will also be innovators who will develop solutions to the world’s challenges and entrepreneurs who will create jobs and wealth across the country and beyond.

He congratulated each graduate on this remarkable achievement, indicating their hard work paid off.
